Project Hifazat is a student-led nonprofit that tackles India’s reproductive-health stigma through a mix of school workshops, rural health camps, and a 24/7 bilingual chatbot that delivers accurate, judgment-free information. So far we’ve touched 250,000+ lives, run 14 health camps that screened 2,800 people (detecting 200+ STIs and 30+ cervical-cancer cases), distributed 670,000 menstrual products across 150 public schools, and administered 84 HPV vaccinations—proof that community-driven care can scale. Our impact has been honored with grants and press from Harvard MUN’s India Impact Initiative, the IB Global Youth Action Fund, and Pramerica Emerging Visionary, among others. As the founders head off to college, we’re looking for passionate new leads to steer Project Hifazat into its next chapter and expand this momentum even further.
